The Domain {411}

I registered lumagpasNET with GoDaddy on December 24, 2008. I am being hosted by InnoHosting as of December 29, 2008. Currently, I have a Deluxe Reseller package with them.

The Domain {The Name}

According to bansaORG, lumagpas can mean: excel, exceed, outdo, and/or over-reach. Interesting right? And although I do like to think that I am excelling/exceeding/outdoing/over-reaching in life, I did not choose lumagpas because of that.

Rather, I chose lumagpas because it’s one of the two words that people (almost always strangers) replace my surname with. That’s it. Haha.

The Domain {History}

Despite lumagpasNET being a new domain, I am no stranger to the world wide web. I’m rusty from years of not blogging, yes, but definitely not unfamiliar. My first domain was kissles.net (I can’t remember why I picked that name) then indiglow.org and I was happy with that. A year later, I decided to change my domain to CinqMinutesORG, still happy as can be. Then, a good 3 or 4 years ago, I just decided, screw it, and dropped off of the blogosphere.

Well, now I’m back (third time +1’s a charm, after all) after being inspired by Keng and seeing the wonderful sites that fill the web. It’s an odd feeling being back after so many years… I’m a newbie but then again, not really. ^^;;

The Domain {Current Layout}

My February/Valentine’s layout! I was originally planning to put up a pink flower-y one but decided this suited me better. The scant lyrics used are from Brett Dennen’s song Just Like the Moon.
